"RAS has allowed us to receive and send files too large for conventional email attachments, secure in the knowledge that the information transmitted was encrypted. The option for the client to send the working file or the review file has provided the flexibility to handle many situations. When receiving the working file, we post adjustments, fix coding, add accounts and resolve other issues directly into the client's file; then return it all done. With the review copy, we receive a snapshot of the books at that moment. It can be used to identify issues, talk through issues, or simply serve as an off site backup of the client's data. One big plus with the working file is that the client's desktop icon disappears, thus preventing them from making inadvertent entries which would be overwritten when the new file was sent back."
